Conditions of hire of Harbourside, Hope Cove, Near Kingsbridge, South Devon |
- For bookings made more than six weeks prior to commencement of booking date a non refundable deposit being one third of the total holiday hire is payable at the time of making the booking. Full payment is required a minimum of six weeks prior to commencement of the holiday period. If neither full payment nor any reasonable explanation is received within five weeks of the commencement of the holiday date we reserve the right to re let with no refund of deposit.
- A security deposit of £50 per week (with a maximum of £100) is payable the same time as the balance of the hire i.e. six weeks prior to commencement date of holiday.
- For booking made and accepted less than six weeks prior to commencement of holiday date full payment plus security deposit is payable immediately.
- The security deposit is held against breakage, damage, unreasonable wear and tear, additional cleaning to that normally needed, additional use of utilities to that included within the hire charge, and balances will be returned within four weeks of the end of your holiday hire. You may take possession after 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and must vacate by 10:00am on the day of departure. . If you fail to comply with these times an additional days’ hire may be charged.
- Please return keys to Mrs Street by recorded mail
- Electricity and Gas standard weekly charge from 30th April to 3RD Septemberr £40 per week All other times £50 per week.
- You may not sublet or share the property with anyone other than that/those persons named on your booking form.
- Your hire is for holiday purposes only.
- Pets are not allowed.
- You must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next holiday makers. Everything is provided except towels, tea towels and bed linen.
- Any complaints or modification of shortages or defects must be reported direct to Mrs. Street at the latest by 5:00pm on the day following your arrival.
- Baggage, personal affects, vehicles and their contents, etc. together with the health and well being of tenants is entirely the responsibility of tenants.
- The hire is made on the basis and in good faith that the property is available during the hire period. If for any extraordinary reasons such as fire, vandalism, subsidence, extreme weather interruption of essential services, etc. Should the property be unfit for habitation the hirer will be informed immediately and all money refunded, and Mrs Street will not be liable for any actual or consequential loss in the event of cancellation of hire. Please remember this is our second home and we wish you and subsequent holidaymakers to enjoy it in the same way as we do.
